Cheek filler In Newcastle

The mid face or ‘cheek’ is one of the first places that we lose volume as we age. Over time the deep fat pads shrink and descend leading to sagging, aging features such as nose to mouth lines, jowls and downturning of the mouth. 

We can use cheek filler to address this issue. The filler acts to re-support these structures and with careful placement we can revolumise specific areas to give a natural, youthful appearance. The lift achieved by treating this area can subsequently improve the nose to mouth lines and jowls.

Is cheek filler painful? 

This area is not usually sensitive. In addition Dr Kane has developed a number of methods to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. Numbing cream Is used as well as potentially injecting a small amount of numbing agent into the area to make the procedure as comfortable as possible.

What is the downtime of cheek filler?

There is no specific downtime to the procedure itself. There can be a small amount of swelling for the first day or two but not to the extent were it would prohibit daily activities. 

How long will the cheek filler last?

How much filler will need to be used?

This can be discussed at consultation however Dr. Kane will assess what will achieve optimum results for your face.To optimise clinical outcomes at least 2ml is often needed in this area to achieve a good result.
