Chin & Jawline Treatment
Chin And Jawline filler Newcastle
The chin and jawline play an integral part in balancing our facial profile. A ‘weak’ chin and a poorly defined jawline can lead to a cosmetic imbalance which can make other facial features including the nose, lips and general facial shape look out of proportion or unattractive.
Jawline filler Newcastle
A well-defined jawline is an appealing feature that enhances the overall appearance of the face. It gives the face a defined contour and adds a sense of structure and balance to the facial features such as the nose and lips. When the jawline is smoothly outlined, it creates a pleasing and attractive appearance that is often associated with youth and vitality.
Unfortunately, various factors can contribute to a loss of definition in the jawline. Genetics play a significant role, as some individuals are predisposed to a weaker jawline. In addition, weight gain and the ageing process can contribute to a loss of definition in the jawline resulting in a less defined, sagging appearance of the lower face.
In many of these instances, dermal filler can be placed along the jawline to improve the contours of the jaw and reduce the sagging appearance.

Jawline filler for ageing / Jowl Treatment Newcastle
One of the most common aesthetic concerns as we age is that the skin and fat of our lower face start to drop, forming what’s sometimes known as jowls. These jowls are mainly due to a natural loss of collagen and elasticity of the skin which leads the fat to descend past the jawline, interrupting the defined contour that may have been there prior.
The primary non-surgical treatment for the ageing jawline (jowls) is using fillers to achieve an indirect lift (non-surgical facelift) or by using a more direct approach to improve the contour of the jawline.
The direct approach, appropriate in some mild cases, is where we place filler directly into the jawline to recontour and smooth the jawline. In select cases, this can be a very effective method of disguising the jowls.
The alternative and more holistic full-face approach is achieving indirect lift through filler. We place filler in precise, strategic points further back and higher in the face which not only rejuvenates those areas by restoring areas that have had volume loss through the ageing process but also achieves a lift of the jawline. This is sometimes referred to as a non-surgical facelift or a liquid facelift due to the impressive results that can be achieved.

Jawline filler for definition
Jawline filler to achieve a natural-looking, more defined contour to the jaw is an extremely popular procedure. We can enhance the definition from the side profile as well as balance the face from the frontal view.
A thorough assessment is carried out to assess which aspects of the jawline need to be defined and improved. The filler is then placed directly along the jawline in strategic areas to achieve a smooth contour of the lower face and jawline which tends to last 12-18 months

The importance of the lower face structure, specifically the chin, is often overlooked. In certain cases, the size and prominence of the chin can be comparatively smaller than other facial features, like the nose or lips, leading to a noticeable impact on the face's profile and proportion
As the ageing process takes place, the form of the lower face changes causing the chin to recede and the jawline to lose volume and sag. This can result in a lack of harmony with other facial features as well as a loss of profile balance. It is also noticed that a smaller chin’ can make the nose appear more oversized or prominent, compromising a balanced profile.

Chin and Jawline filler for men
Chin and jawline filler is one of the most popular male treatment requests that we get at Dr Kane Aesthetics Co. Some men naturally have either a slightly reduced or ‘weaker’ chin and/or jawline which can make the face look less masculine or attractive.
Filler can be carefully placed in these areas to give a more masculine, attractive shape to the face. As we assess the face from all angles we make sure that this treatment remains subtle but brings the chin and or jawline back into proportion with the rest of the face.
